DEAD ENGINEER'S TRAPDOOR HELPS UNCOVER MOBSTER’S SECRET - When three Russians, including an engineer, are found dead the investigation leads Crews (Damian Lewis) and Reese (Sarah Shahi) to Russian mobster Roman Nevikov (Garret Dillahunt) who Crews believes is somehow linked to his own case. Meanwhile, Crews shoots an intruder who turns out to be someone he knows very well and Reese falls back into old habits. Adam Arkin, Brent Sexton and Donal Logue also star.

UPDATED 10/22: Charlie's estranged father makes an appearance to mend fences with his son but Charlie is less inclined to mend fences and seems to suspect his father has less than noble reasons for appearing. More people from Charlie's past returns, particularly a prison buddy out to protect one of Charlie's friends.
This episode will feature Russian immigrants and an upscale club ran by the Russian mafia.

Ann Early, Ted's daughter will visit, a film student to film a documentary about her family.
The episode will feature a violent ex-biker con who is persuaded by his mother to turn from a life of crime. The episode will also feature an ongoing scam about roofs.
Charlie Crews will deal more on the fallouts of what he has lost and gained during his 12 year incarceration
Captain Kevin Tidwell will be a possible love interest for Dani Reese.
More on Reese's past will be touched on this year, possibly alluding to the circumstances that led to her addiction.
Dani will relapse and start drinking again, possibly in connection to her father's involvement in Charlie's frame-up and her possible relationship with Tidwell.
Charlie will 'get over' his crush on Constance and will begin pursuing his ex-wife
Charlie will start identifying the five big players involved in his frame-up.
The partnership between Charlie and Dani will continue to evolve smoothly but no romantic connections will be made, they will be each other's 'safe haven.'
